Records Management and the Law

There is no one piece of legislation that summarises our University's records management responsiblities. We are though statutorily obliged to comply with numerous Parliamentary Acts and associated legislation.

The sections below outline just a few of the Acts which impact on our records managemend and have influenced the records retention schedules that we must comply with.
