Seminar Series Organiser Description
The AFM seminar series covers frontier research topics in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics with presentations given by internal and external speakers.
The topics covered in the seminar are in Analysis in the broad sense (analysis of PDE, calculus of variations, harmonic analysis, spectral theory).
The ACM Seminar mostly covers topics in applied analysis, numerical analysis, mathematical modeling, and data-driven methods. It is a joined seminar with the University of Edinburgh.
Computer Science Seminar Series Theo Georgiou and Mehdi Rizvi ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and University of Edinburgh run a Computer Science Seminar Series on behalf of the CS department, the National Robotarium and Edinburgh Centre for Robotics. We invite leading researchers and industry experts from Scotland, rest of the UK as well as internationally. The seminar series are organised twice monthly and is usually hosted at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Edinburgh campus or the University of Edinburgh.
A seminar series organised by EMPG, a part of Maxwell institute, focused on mathematical physics. We invite speakers from across the globe working on mathematical physics to broaden our scientific horizons.
LAIV seminars provide a forum for AI, machine learning, verification, programming language, security and legal experts to meet and discuss the state of the art and future directions in Verification of AI.
