Applicants' Visit Days
Combined Studies holds several Applicants’ Visit Days between March and April. The scheduled Applicants’ Visit Days are for applicants who have applied for a place on one of our undergraduate courses. Parents or guardians are also very welcome to attend all or part of the day's activities and discussions.
What happens on an Applicants’ Visit Days ?
The day starts with an introduction of University life at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at the University Applicant Day welcome. This is normally followed by information sessions that may include 'a Student Life' by the Students Union and Sports Union representatives, details about our Accommodation and Student Support Service, and Student Finances.
We then invite you for a brief presentation about Combined Studies and BEng Engineering at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ followed by a guided tour showing some of the teaching and research facilities. Throughout the day there will be the chance to ask us about any aspect of student life. The afternoon also offers the chance to see around our Campus through centrally organised tours.
We believe that it is very important that you choose a University and Department where you will be happy and able to fulfil your potential. One of the best ways to help make this decision is to visit the Universities concerned and we very much hope you will be able to accept this invitation to visit our Department.
Please check Applicants’ Visit Days and University Open Days page for further information including dates and how to arrange a visit.
