CIMB ASEAN Scholarship
CIMB seeks to provide full scholarship programme for exceptional students from ASEAN countries where CIMB operates. Beyond comprehensive financial support covering tuition fees for undergraduate programmes listed in application site, living allowances, and other related expenses, the scholarship offers professional development through mentorship programmes and opportunities like internships and participation in The Complete Bankerâ„¢ Management Trainee Programme.
Scholars are bonded with CIMB, ensuring guaranteed employment upon graduation. The programme welcomes applicants from various academic disciplines, emphasizing adaptability, strong communication skills, and a robust academic and extracurricular track record.
Criteria:
- A citizen of either Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam
- Applicants who are currently in their pre-university programme or equivalent and are about to start their undergraduate degree
- Min. CGPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent with excellent academic track record and active in curricular activities.
- Applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship that comes with contractual obligations such as a service bond.

FWD Go Global Scholarship
FWD Go Global Scholarship (part of FWD Takaful Talent Development Scholarship) is established to support two deserving students in their pursuit of international exposure through the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Go Global Programme. This opportunity allows students to study for one semester at Edinburgh Campus, with funding provided by FWD Takaful.
The scholarship will cover both tuition fees and living expenses, enabling recipients to fully engage in this enriching experience. This initiative aims to empower students to broaden their horizons, gain invaluable insights, and enhance their academic and professional journeys.
Eligibility:
- Open to all nationalities
- Currently enrolled Year 1 or Year 2 students in the BSc Actuarial Science programme or Year 1 students in the BSc Statistical Data Science programme at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Malaysia (HWUM)
- Meet Go Global transfer eligibility

To apply for the scholarship, applicants are required to:

- Why are you interested in applying for this scholarship?
- Outline of your academic and extracurricular achievements to date
- Provide 2-minute video outlining your passion in your current programme and explaining how studying abroad will benefit your future careers. Your video should be uploaded as a private but shareable YouTube link.
- Provide proof of financial need and supporting documents.
Review and Selection:
The final selection will be based on the following criteria:
- Financial need
- Contribution to the field of studies
- Commitment to extracurricular activities, and
- Academic achievements
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview by the scholarship selection panel. The University reserves the right to refuse any application at its absolute discretion without the obligation to disclose the reasons for such refusal. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit the Go Global request through portal.
YTL Foundation Scholarship

Zchwantech Scholarship
The Zchwantech Scholarship Programme offers full coverage of tuition fees and career opportunities for Computing Science students only.
Eligibility:
- Applicant who has been offered and accepted to study as full-time undergraduate student in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Malaysia (HWUM) BSc (Hons) Computing Science programme OR current active HWUM BSc (Hons) Computing Science programme student.
- Malaysian citizens only.

The successful scholar is required to serve a scholarship bond upon graduation from the programme, in the form of full-time employment, with the scholarship sponsor. The bond period is subject to the scholarship sponsor's policies and guidelines. In the event that an employment is offered by the Sponsor to the Sponsored Student, the Sponsored Student shall work in the company to be designated by the Sponsor (eg: the Sponsored Student is to work for one (1) year for receiving one year of Sponsorship).

The Star Education Fund Scholarship
The Star Education Fund scholarship is offered under the collaboration between Star Media Group with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Malaysia to provide higher education opportunities to deserving young Malaysians.
Scholarships are applicable to the following programmes:
Foundation leading to or direct entry to degree in:
